Stephanie and I met for the first time at a Starbucks downtown. When we both sat down with the same latte order I knew she was someone special! And after talking with her about her engagement, what she does, and a billion other details my assumptions were right as it was like I had just met up with an old friend. Fast forward to the following May and we were vacationing in Jamaica together – I mean, I photographed her sister’s wedding – and it was like two old friends hanging out by the pool. As we sipped on mojitos, dominated attempted water volleyball, and Eric and Robin bonded over cigars, we got to know each other even more. All those moments made capturing Eric and Steph’s wedding even more meaningful – it was as if I was watching two friends say their vows to each other, share their first dance as husband and wife, and sneak kisses all day.

Their wedding day was not only full of gorgeous details, but was also centred around their families. They chose to get ready at their parent’s houses and were surrounded by siblings, cousins and best friends. Their ceremony was held at St Peter’s Cathedral Basilica in London (Ontario) and as each bridesmaid made their way down the aisle you could just see the excitement rushing over Eric as he waited for Steph. When she finally came in with her parents the room lit up with smiles, especially Eric’s as he couldn’t take his eyes off of her the entire time.

Their reception was held at Bellamere Winery and was a party the moment it started. From the incredible bridal party entrance to an impromptu dance party mid-dinner, the night was an unforgettable one. Steph and Eric, you both have such magnetic personalities, you’re funny, smart and genuine. It’s no surprise you make it so easy for other’s to support you. You’re a perfect match and I’m so thankful to have been invited into your lives!

Their seating table chart was so original and also fit perfectly with the candlelight throughout the reception.

The selfie-stick made quite an entrance – and you better believe it was on the dance floor all night!
