I met Jen almost 10 years when I was working at my first real job during university. She maybe didn’t know it then but I looked up to her in so many ways. She was 27 at the time and to me (at 21) she had her shit together! She was successful in her career, had savings, and she seemed to have all the answers. Fast forward and we’ve both changed jobs and seem to have such different lives but managed to still keep in touch. So when she told me she was expecting I was beyond excited and even more excited that she asked me to photograph her baby girl.

I met her and her husband at their home when Selene was about 3 weeks old and took photos of the new family, including their fur baby Wilson. These guys were such naturals and you could just feel how in love they all are – and that Wilson! I mean he stole the show (next to Selene of course). It’s such a blast to document such meaningful moments for my clients but I have to say this one was extra special and I can’t wait to see Selene grow up.
