I love the idea of an anniversary photo session! Seeing as I’m a fan of celebrating everything (and documenting it with photos) this is right up my alley. I told myself I’d have one last year but that never happened unfortunately, maybe for year two I can get it done! I cringe to admit it but I never had engagement photos done – something I regret since I find engagement photos to be such a great opportunity to capture your relationship in a simpler form. I think the anniversary session is a great chance to get those simple, crazy-in-love photos. So I was ecstatic when Lauren and Nathan asked me to capture their first year anniversary photos. They chose to have the photos taken at the CNE (fun!) which is where Nathan proposed to Lauren as she loves the EX. We met up on a perfect evening a few days before a long weekend so it was bustling with people. There was cotton candy, the ferris wheel, swings, ring toss – the classics! We had a blast and these two chose the perfect setting to show off their fun personalities. Here’s to keeping the celebration going!
