It’s an exciting day around here! My new site is finally ready to make it’s debut! After turning 1 this past August (more on that coming soon!) I knew it was time for a little change. Although the site I had wasn’t dated or anything, it was on a different platform than my blog so it was difficult to line up the two. I wanted to create a space where my work, posts and information were all easy to find and the overall brand was carried throughout. I’ve also grown a lot this past year and I wanted a site that reflected this. My brand has evolved and so has the experience client’s receive when they work with me so that needed to be clearly highlighted through my site. I also wanted a site that shows who I am, strongly displayed images and was informative. Some new things I’m in love with are the static navigation bar so even when scrolling down visitors can still access other pages or information quickly. The search bar in the blog section searches across blog posts and pages within the site. And the full integration of blog posts on pages means less manual updating for me! I created this site using ProPhoto software as it’s one of the best blogging platforms out there but has been designed with Photographers in mind making sure to integrate their portfolio and website. I’m really excited with how it turned out and I’m excited to start my second year in business with a fresh look!
